Khattiya class persons
“ខត្តិយោ ទ្វិបទំ សេដ្ឋោ, ពលីពទ្ទោ ចតុប្បទំ; កោមារី សេដ្ឋា ភរិយានំ, យោ ច បុត្តាន បុព្ពជោ”តិ។
“A khattiya class person is the best of bipeds, an ox is the best of quadrupeds, a maiden is the best of wives, and a first-born the best of sons.”
“សម្ពុទ្ធោ ទ្វិបទំ សេដ្ឋោ, អាជានីយោ ចតុប្បទំ; សុស្សូសា សេដ្ឋា ភរិយានំ, យោ ច បុត្តានមស្សវោ”តិ។
“A Buddha is the best of bipeds, a thoroughbred, the best of quadrupeds, a good listener is the best of wives, and the best of sons is loyal.”
