ចីរាសុត្ត
With the Nun Cīrā
ឯវំ មេ សុតំ—ឯកំ សមយំ ភគវា រាជគហេ វិហរតិ វេឡុវនេ កលន្ទកនិវាបេ។
So I have heard. At one time the Buddha was staying near Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove, the squirrels’ feeding ground.
តេន ខោ បន សមយេន អញ្ញតរោ ឧបាសកោ ចីរាយ ភិក្ខុនិយា ចីវរំ អទាសិ។ អថ ខោ ចីរាយ ភិក្ខុនិយា អភិប្បសន្នោ យក្ខោ រាជគហេ រថិកាយ រថិកំ សិង្ឃាដកេន សិង្ឃាដកំ ឧបសង្កមិត្វា តាយំ វេលាយំ ឥមំ គាថំ អភាសិ:
Now at that time a certain lay follower gave a robe to the nun Cīrā. Then a native spirit was so devoted to Cīrā that he went from street to street and from square to square, and on that occasion recited these verses:
“បុញ្ញំ វត បសវិ ពហុំ, សប្បញ្ញោ វតាយំ ឧបាសកោ; យោ ចីរាយ អទាសិ ចីវរំ, សព្ពយោគេហិ វិប្បមុត្តិយា”តិ។
“O! He has made so much merit! That lay-follower is so very wise. He gave a robe to Cīrā, who is released from all yokes.”
