ទុតិយសុក្កាសុត្ត
With the Nun Sukkā (2nd)
ឯកំ សមយំ ភគវា រាជគហេ វិហរតិ វេឡុវនេ កលន្ទកនិវាបេ។
At one time the Buddha was staying near Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove, the squirrels’ feeding ground.
តេន ខោ បន សមយេន អញ្ញតរោ ឧបាសកោ សុក្កាយ ភិក្ខុនិយា ភោជនំ អទាសិ។ អថ ខោ សុក្កាយ ភិក្ខុនិយា អភិប្បសន្នោ យក្ខោ រាជគហេ រថិកាយ រថិកំ សិង្ឃាដកេន សិង្ឃាដកំ ឧបសង្កមិត្វា តាយំ វេលាយំ ឥមំ គាថំ អភាសិ:
Now at that time a certain lay follower gave food to the nun Sukkā. Then a native spirit was so devoted to Sukkā that he went from street to street and from square to square, and on that occasion recited these verses:
“បុញ្ញំ វត បសវិ ពហុំ, សប្បញ្ញោ វតាយំ ឧបាសកោ; យោ សុក្កាយ អទាសិ ភោជនំ, សព្ពគន្ថេហិ វិប្បមុត្តិយា”តិ។
“O! He has made so much merit! That lay follower is so very wise. He just gave food to Sukkā, who is released from all ties.”
