“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အင်္ဂေဟိ သမန္နာဂတာ ဝါစာ သုဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, နော ဒုဗ္ဘာသိတာ, အနဝဇ္ဇာ စ အနနုဝဇ္ဇာ စ ဝိညူနံ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ကာလေန စ ဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, သစ္စာ စ ဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, သဏှာ စ ဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, အတ္ထသံဟိတာ စ ဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, မေတ္တစိတ္တေန စ ဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ အင်္ဂေဟိ သမန္နာဂတာ ဝါစာ သုဘာသိတာ ဟောတိ, နော ဒုဗ္ဘာသိတာ, အနဝဇ္ဇာ စ အနနုဝဇ္ဇာ စ ဝိညူနန်”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, speech that has five factors is well spoken, not poorly spoken. It’s blameless and is not criticized by sensible people. What five? It is speech that is timely, true, gentle, beneficial, and loving. Speech with these five factors is well spoken, not poorly spoken. It’s blameless and is not criticized by sensible people.”
