សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
ឯកមន្តំ និសិន្នោ ខោ អាយស្មា រាហុលោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច:
Seated to one side, Rāhula said to the Buddha:
“កថំ នុ ខោ, ភន្តេ, ជានតោ កថំ បស្សតោ ឥមស្មិញ្ច សវិញ្ញាណកេ កាយេ ពហិទ្ធា ច សព្ពនិមិត្តេសុ អហង្ការមមង្ការមានាបគតំ មានសំ ហោតិ វិធាសមតិក្កន្តំ សន្តំ សុវិមុត្តន៑”តិ?
“Sir, how does one know and see so that the mind is rid of ego, possessiveness, and conceit for this conscious body and all external stimuli; and going beyond discrimination, it’s peaceful and well freed?”
“យំ កិញ្ចិ, រាហុល, រូបំ អតីតានាគតបច្ចុប្បន្នំ អជ្ឈត្តំ វា ពហិទ្ធា វា …បេ… យំ ទូរេ សន្តិកេ វា, សព្ពំ រូបំ ‘នេតំ មម, នេសោហមស្មិ, ន មេសោ អត្តាៜតិ ឯវមេតំ យថាភូតំ សម្មប្បញ្ញាយ ទិស្វា អនុបាទា វិមុត្តោ ហោតិ។
“Rāhula, when one truly sees any kind of form at all—past, future, or present; internal or external; coarse or fine; inferior or superior; far or near: all form—with right understanding: ‘This is not mine, I am not this, this is not my self,’ one is freed by not grasping.
យា កាចិ វេទនា … យា កាចិ សញ្ញា … យេ កេចិ សង្ខារា … យំ កិញ្ចិ វិញ្ញាណំ អតីតានាគតបច្ចុប្បន្នំ អជ្ឈត្តំ វា ពហិទ្ធា វា ឱឡារិកំ វា សុខុមំ វា ហីនំ វា បណីតំ វា យំ ទូរេ សន្តិកេ វា, សព្ពំ វិញ្ញាណំ ‘នេតំ មម, នេសោហមស្មិ, ន មេសោ អត្តាៜតិ ឯវមេតំ យថាភូតំ សម្មប្បញ្ញាយ ទិស្វា អនុបាទា វិមុត្តោ ហោតិ។
One truly sees any kind of feeling … perception … functioning patterns … When one truly sees any kind of consciousness at all—past, future, or present; internal or external; coarse or fine; inferior or superior; far or near: all consciousness—with right understanding: ‘This is not mine, I am not this, this is not my self,’ one is freed by not grasping.
ឯវំ ខោ, រាហុល, ជានតោ ឯវំ បស្សតោ ឥមស្មិញ្ច សវិញ្ញាណកេ កាយេ ពហិទ្ធា ច សព្ពនិមិត្តេសុ អហង្ការមមង្ការមានាបគតំ មានសំ ហោតិ វិធាសមតិក្កន្តំ សន្តំ សុវិមុត្តន៑”តិ។
That’s how to know and see so that the mind is rid of ego, possessiveness, and conceit for this conscious body and all external stimuli; and going beyond discrimination, it’s peaceful and well freed.”
