Things to be Realized
“စတ္တာရောမေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ ဓမ္မာ၊ ကတမေ စတ္တာရော?
“Bhikkhus, these four things should be realized. What four?
အတ္ထိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ ကာယေန သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ; အတ္ထိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ သတိယာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ; အတ္ထိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ စက္ခုနာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ; အတ္ထိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ ပညာယ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ၊
There are things to be realized with direct meditative experience. There are things to be realized with recollection. There are things to be realized with vision. There are things to be realized with wisdom.
ကတမေ စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ ကာယေန သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ? အဋ္ဌ ဝိမောက္ခာ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ကာယေန သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ၊
What things are to be realized with direct meditative experience? The eight liberations.
ကတမေ စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ သတိယာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ? ပုဗ္ဗေနိဝါသော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတိယာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယော၊
What things are to be realized with recollection? Past lives.
ကတမေ စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ စက္ခုနာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ? သတ္တာနံ စုတူပပါတော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စက္ခုနာ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယော၊
What things are to be realized with vision? The passing away and rebirth of sentient beings.
ကတမေ စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ ပညာယ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ? အာသဝါနံ ခယော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပညာယ သစ္ဆိကရဏီယော၊
What things are to be realized with wisdom? The ending of defilements.
ဣမေ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတ္တာရော သစ္ဆိကရဏီယာ ဓမ္မာ”တိ၊
These are the four things to be realized.”
