សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ។
At Sāvatthī.
“យេ ហិ កេចិ, ភិក្ខវេ, សមណា វា ព្រាហ្មណា វា បថវីធាតុំ នប្បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុសមុទយំ នប្បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុនិរោធំ នប្បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុនិរោធគាមិនិំ បដិបទំ នប្បជានន្តិ …បេ… អាបោធាតុំ នប្បជានន្តិ … តេជោធាតុំ នប្បជានន្តិ … វាយោធាតុំ នប្បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុសមុទយំ នប្បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុនិរោធំ នប្បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុនិរោធគាមិនិំ បដិបទំ នប្បជានន្តិ, ន មេ តេ, ភិក្ខវេ, សមណា វា ព្រាហ្មណា វា សមណេសុ វា សមណសម្មតា ព្រាហ្មណេសុ វា ព្រាហ្មណសម្មតា; ន ច បន តេ អាយស្មន្តោ សាមញ្ញត្ថំ វា ព្រហ្មញ្ញត្ថំ វា ទិដ្ឋេវ ធម្មេ សយំ អភិញ្ញា សច្ឆិកត្វា ឧបសម្បជ្ជ វិហរន្តិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are ascetics and brahmins who don’t understand the earth element, its origin, its cessation, and the practice that leads to its cessation. They don’t understand the water element … fire element … air element … Those venerables don’t realize the goal of life as an ascetic or brahmin, and don’t live having realized it with their own insight.
យេ ច ខោ កេចិ, ភិក្ខវេ, សមណា វា ព្រាហ្មណា វា បថវីធាតុំ បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុសមុទយំ បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុនិរោធំ បជានន្តិ, បថវីធាតុនិរោធគាមិនិំ បដិបទំ បជានន្តិ … យេ ច ខោ កេចិ, ភិក្ខវេ, សមណា វា ព្រាហ្មណា វា …បេ… អាបោធាតុំ បជានន្តិ … តេជោធាតុំ បជានន្តិ … វាយោធាតុំ បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុសមុទយំ បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុនិរោធំ បជានន្តិ, វាយោធាតុនិរោធគាមិនិំ បដិបទំ បជានន្តិ, តេ ច ខោ មេ, ភិក្ខវេ, សមណា វា ព្រាហ្មណា វា សមណេសុ ចេវ សមណសម្មតា ព្រាហ្មណេសុ ច ព្រាហ្មណសម្មតា; តេ ច បនាយស្មន្តោ សាមញ្ញត្ថញ្ច ព្រហ្មញ្ញត្ថញ្ច ទិដ្ឋេវ ធម្មេ សយំ អភិញ្ញា សច្ឆិកត្វា ឧបសម្បជ្ជ វិហរន្តី”តិ។
There are ascetics and brahmins who do understand the earth element, its origin, its cessation, and the practice that leads to its cessation.
