អចរិំសុត្ត
In Search of Gratification
សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ។
At Sāvatthī.
“បថវីធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អស្សាទបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យោ បថវីធាតុយា អស្សាទោ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា បថវីធាតុយា អស្សាទោ បញ្ញាយ មេ សោ សុទិដ្ឋោ។ បថវីធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាទីនវបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យោ បថវីធាតុយា អាទីនវោ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា បថវីធាតុយា អាទីនវោ បញ្ញាយ មេ សោ សុទិដ្ឋោ។ បថវីធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, និស្សរណបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យំ បថវីធាតុយា និស្សរណំ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា បថវីធាតុយា និស្សរណំ បញ្ញាយ មេ តំ សុទិដ្ឋំ។
“Bhikkhus, I went in search of the earth element’s gratification, and I found it. I’ve seen clearly with wisdom the full extent of gratification in the earth element. I went in search of the earth element’s drawback, and I found it. I’ve seen clearly with wisdom the full extent of the drawback in the earth element. I went in search of escape from the earth element, and I found it. I’ve seen clearly with wisdom the full extent of escape from the earth element.
អាបោធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ …បេ… តេជោធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ … វាយោធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អស្សាទបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យោ វាយោធាតុយា អស្សាទោ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា វាយោធាតុយា អស្សាទោ បញ្ញាយ មេ សោ សុទិដ្ឋោ។ វាយោធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាទីនវបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យោ វាយោធាតុយា អាទីនវោ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា វាយោធាតុយា អាទីនវោ បញ្ញាយ មេ សោ សុទិដ្ឋោ។ វាយោធាតុយាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, និស្សរណបរិយេសនំ អចរិំ, យំ វាយោធាតុយា និស្សរណំ តទជ្ឈគមំ, យាវតា វាយោធាតុយា និស្សរណំ បញ្ញាយ មេ តំ សុទិដ្ឋំ។
I went in search of the water element’s gratification … I went in search of the fire element’s gratification … I went in search of the air element’s gratification …
យាវកីវញ្ចាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥមាសំ ចតុន្នំ ធាតូនំ អស្សាទញ្ច អស្សាទតោ អាទីនវញ្ច អាទីនវតោ និស្សរណញ្ច និស្សរណតោ យថាភូតំ ន អព្ភញ្ញាសិំ, នេវ តាវាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, សទេវកេ លោកេ សមារកេ សព្រហ្មកេ សស្សមណព្រាហ្មណិយា បជាយ សទេវមនុស្សាយ អនុត្តរំ សម្មាសម្ពោធិំ អភិសម្ពុទ្ធោតិ បច្ចញ្ញាសិំ។
As long as I didn’t truly understand these four elements’ gratification, drawback, and escape for what they are, I didn’t announce my supreme perfect awakening in this world with its gods, Māras, and Brahmās, this population with its ascetics and brahmins, its gods and humans.
យតោ ច ខ្វាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥមាសំ ចតុន្នំ ធាតូនំ អស្សាទញ្ច អស្សាទតោ អាទីនវញ្ច អាទីនវតោ និស្សរណញ្ច និស្សរណតោ យថាភូតំ អព្ភញ្ញាសិំ, អថាហំ, ភិក្ខវេ, សទេវកេ លោកេ សមារកេ សព្រហ្មកេ សស្សមណព្រាហ្មណិយា បជាយ សទេវមនុស្សាយ អនុត្តរំ សម្មាសម្ពោធិំ អភិសម្ពុទ្ធោតិ បច្ចញ្ញាសិំ។
But when I did truly understand the four elements’ gratification, drawback, and escape for what they are, I announced my supreme perfect awakening in this world with its gods, Māras, and Brahmās, this population with its ascetics and brahmins, its gods and humans.
ញាណញ្ច បន មេ ទស្សនំ ឧទបាទិ: ‘អកុប្បា មេ វិមុត្តិ, អយមន្តិមា ជាតិ, នត្ថិ ទានិ បុនព្ភវោៜ”តិ។
Knowledge and vision arose in me: ‘My freedom is unshakable; this is my last rebirth; now there’ll be no more future lives.’”
