တတိယဂိဉ္ဇကာဝသထသုတ္တ

ဧကမန္တံ နိသိန္နော ခေါ အာယသ္မာ အာနန္ဒော ဘဂဝန္တံ ဧတဒဝေါစ:
Ānanda said to the Buddha:
“ကက္ကဋော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော ကာလင်္ကတော; တဿ ကာ ဂတိ, ကော အဘိသမ္ပရာယော? ကဠိဘော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော …ပေ… နိကတော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော … ကဋိဿဟော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော … တုဋ္ဌော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော … သန္တုဋ္ဌော နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော … ဘဒ္ဒေါ နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော … သုဘဒ္ဒေါ နာမ, ဘန္တေ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကော ကာလင်္ကတော; တဿ ကာ ဂတိ ကော အဘိသမ္ပရာယော”တိ?
“Sir, the layman named Kakkaṭa has passed away in Ñātika. Where has he been reborn in his next life? The laymen named Kaḷibha, Nikata, Kaṭissaha, Tuṭṭha, Santuṭṭha, Bhadda, and Subhadda have passed away in Ñātika. Where have they been reborn in the next life?”
“ကက္ကဋော, အာနန္ဒ, ဥပါသကော ကာလင်္ကတော ပဉ္စန္နံ ဩရမ္ဘာဂိယာနံ သံယောဇနာနံ ပရိက္ခယာ ဩပပါတိကော တတ္ထ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာယီ အနာဝတ္တိဓမ္မော တသ္မာ လောကာ၊ ကဠိဘော, အာနန္ဒ …ပေ… နိကတော, အာနန္ဒ … ကဋိဿဟော, အာနန္ဒ … တုဋ္ဌော, အာနန္ဒ … သန္တုဋ္ဌော, အာနန္ဒ … ဘဒ္ဒေါ, အာနန္ဒ …ပေ… သုဘဒ္ဒေါ, အာနန္ဒ, ဥပါသကော ကာလင်္ကတော ပဉ္စန္နံ ဩရမ္ဘာဂိယာနံ သံယောဇနာနံ ပရိက္ခယာ ဩပပါတိကော တတ္ထ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာယီ အနာဝတ္တိဓမ္မော တသ္မာ လောကာ၊
“Ānanda, the laymen Kakkaṭa, Kaḷibha, Nikata, Kaṭissaha, Tuṭṭha, Santuṭṭha, Bhadda, and Subhadda passed away having ended the five lower fetters. They’ve been reborn spontaneously, and will be extinguished there, not liable to return from that world.

ပရောပညာသ, အာနန္ဒ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကာ ကာလင်္ကတာ ပဉ္စန္နံ ဩရမ္ဘာဂိယာနံ သံယောဇနာနံ ပရိက္ခယာ ဩပပါတိကာ တတ္ထ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာယိနော အနာဝတ္တိဓမ္မာ တသ္မာ လောကာ၊
Over fifty laymen in Ñātika have passed away having ended the five lower fetters. They’ve been reborn spontaneously, and will be extinguished there, not liable to return from that world.
သာဓိကနဝုတိ, အာနန္ဒ, ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကာ ကာလင်္ကတာ တိဏ္ဏံ သံယောဇနာနံ ပရိက္ခယာ ရာဂဒေါသမောဟာနံ တနုတ္တာ သကဒါဂါမိနော; သကိဒေဝ ဣမံ လောကံ အာဂန္တွာ ဒုက္ခဿန္တံ ကရိဿန္တိ၊
More than ninety laymen in Ñātika have passed away having ended three fetters, and weakened greed, hate, and delusion. They’re once-returners, who will come back to this world once only, then make an end of suffering.
ဆာတိရေကာနိ ခေါ, အာနန္ဒ, ပဉ္စသတာနိ ဉာတိကေ ဥပါသကာ ကာလင်္ကတာ တိဏ္ဏံ သံယောဇနာနံ ပရိက္ခယာ သောတာပန္နာ အဝိနိပါတဓမ္မာ နိယတာ သမ္ဗောဓိပရာယဏာ၊
In excess of five hundred laymen in Ñātika have passed away having ended three fetters. They’re stream-enterers, not liable to be reborn in the underworld, bound for awakening.
အနစ္ဆရိယံ ခေါ ပနေတံ, အာနန္ဒ, ယံ မနုဿဘူတော ကာလံ ကရေယျ; တသ္မိံ တသ္မိဉ္စေ မံ ကာလင်္ကတေ ဥပသင်္ကမိတွာ ဧတမတ္ထံ ပဋိပုစ္ဆိဿထ၊ ဝိဟေသာ ပေသာ, အာနန္ဒ, အဿ တထာဂတဿ၊ တသ္မာတိဟာနန္ဒ, ဓမ္မာဒါသံ နာမ ဓမ္မပရိယာယံ ဒေသေဿာမိ; ယေန သမန္နာဂတော အရိယသာဝကော အာကင်္ခမာနော အတ္တနာဝ အတ္တာနံ ဗျာကရေယျ: ‘ခီဏနိရယောမှိ ခီဏတိရစ္ဆာနယောနိ ခီဏပေတ္တိဝိသယော ခီဏာပါယဒုဂ္ဂတိဝိနိပါတော, သောတာပန္နောဟမသ္မိ အဝိနိပါတဓမ္မော နိယတော သမ္ဗောဓိပရာယဏော'၊
It’s hardly surprising that a human being should pass away. But if you should come and ask me about it each and every time someone passes away, that would be a bother for me. So Ānanda, I will teach you the explanation of the Dhamma called ‘the mirror of the teaching’. A noble disciple who has this may declare of themselves: ‘I’ve finished with rebirth in hell, the animal realm, and the ghost realm. I’ve finished with all places of loss, bad places, the underworld. I am a stream-enterer! I’m not liable to be reborn in the underworld, and am bound for awakening.’
ကတမော စ သော, အာနန္ဒ, ဓမ္မာဒါသော ဓမ္မပရိယာယော; ယေန သမန္နာဂတော အရိယသာဝကော အာကင်္ခမာနော အတ္တနာဝ အတ္တာနံ ဗျာကရေယျ: ‘ခီဏနိရယောမှိ ခီဏတိရစ္ဆာနယောနိ ခီဏပေတ္တိဝိသယော ခီဏာပါယဒုဂ္ဂတိဝိနိပါတော, သောတာပန္နောဟမသ္မိ အဝိနိပါတဓမ္မော နိယတော သမ္ဗောဓိပရာယဏော'၊
And what is that mirror of the teaching?
ဣဓာနန္ဒ, အရိယသာဝကော ဗုဒ္ဓေ အဝေစ္စပ္ပသာဒေန သမန္နာဂတော ဟောတိ—ဣတိပိ သော ဘဂဝါ …ပေ… သတ္ထာ ဒေဝမနုဿာနံ ဗုဒ္ဓေါ ဘဂဝါတိ၊ ဓမ္မေ …ပေ… သင်္ဃေ …ပေ… အရိယကန္တေဟိ သီလေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဟောတိ အခဏ္ဍေဟိ …ပေ… သမာဓိသံဝတ္တနိကေဟိ၊ အယံ ခေါ သော, အာနန္ဒ, ဓမ္မာဒါသော ဓမ္မပရိယာယော; ယေန သမန္နာဂတော အရိယသာဝကော အာကင်္ခမာနော အတ္တနာဝ အတ္တာနံ ဗျာကရေယျ: ‘ခီဏနိရယောမှိ ခီဏတိရစ္ဆာနယောနိ ခီဏပေတ္တိဝိသယော ခီဏာပါယဒုဂ္ဂတိဝိနိပါတော, သောတာပန္နောဟမသ္မိ အဝိနိပါတဓမ္မော နိယတော သမ္ဗောဓိပရာယဏော'”တိ၊
It’s when a noble disciple has experiential confidence in the Buddha … the teaching … the Saṅgha … And they have the ethical conduct loved by the noble ones … leading to samādhi. This is that mirror of the teaching. A noble disciple who has this may declare of themselves: ‘I’ve finished with rebirth in hell, the animal realm, and the ghost realm. I’ve finished with all places of loss, bad places, the underworld. I am a stream-enterer! I’m not liable to be reborn in the underworld, and am bound for awakening.’”
