“ฉหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ตปุโสฺส คหปติ ตถาคเต นิฏฺฐงฺคโต อมตทฺทโส อมตํ สจฺฉิกตฺวา อิริยติฯ กตเมหิ ฉหิ? พุทฺเธ อเวจฺจปฺปสาเทน, ธมฺเม อเวจฺจปฺปสาเทน, สงฺเฆ อเวจฺจปฺปสาเทน, อริเยน สีเลน, อริเยน ญาเณน, อริยาย วิมุตฺติยาฯ อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, ฉหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ตปุโสฺส คหปติ ตถาคเต นิฏฺฐงฺคโต อมตทฺทโส อมตํ สจฺฉิกตฺวา อิริยตี”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, having six qualities the householder Tapussa is certain about the Realized One, sees the deathless, and lives having realized the deathless. What six? Experiential confidence in the Buddha, the teaching, and the Saṅgha, and noble ethics, knowledge, and freedom. Having these six qualities the householder Tapussa is certain about the Realized One, sees the deathless, and lives having realized the deathless.”
