သာဝတ္ထိနိဒါနံ၊
At Sāvatthī.
“ပဉ္စိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဣန္ဒြိယာနိ ဘာဝိတာနိ ဗဟုလီကတာနိ သံယောဇနပ္ပဟာနာယ သံဝတ္တန္တိ၊ ကတမာနိ ပဉ္စ? သဒ္ဓိန္ဒြိယံ …ပေ… ပညိန္ဒြိယံ—ဣမာနိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စိန္ဒြိယာနိ ဘာဝိတာနိ ဗဟုလီကတာနိ သံယောဇနပ္ပဟာနာယ သံဝတ္တန္တီ”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, when these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to giving up the fetters. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. When these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to giving up the fetters.”
