“ပဉ္စိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဣန္ဒြိယာနိ ဘာဝိတာနိ ဗဟုလီကတာနိ အနုပ္ပန္နာနိ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇန္တိ, နာညတြ တထာဂတဿ ပါတုဘာဝါ အရဟတော သမ္မာသမ္ဗုဒ္ဓဿ၊ ကတမာနိ ပဉ္စ? သဒ္ဓိန္ဒြိယံ, ဝီရိယိန္ဒြိယံ, သတိန္ဒြိယံ, သမာဓိန္ဒြိယံ, ပညိန္ဒြိယံ—ဣမာနိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စိန္ဒြိယာနိ ဘာဝိတာနိ ဗဟုလီကတာနိ အနုပ္ပန္နာနိ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇန္တိ, နာညတြ တထာဂတဿ ပါတုဘာဝါ အရဟတော သမ္မာသမ္ဗုဒ္ဓဿာ”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, these five faculties don’t arise to be developed and cultivated except when a Realized One, a perfected one, a fully awakened Buddha has appeared. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. These five faculties don’t arise to be developed and cultivated except when a Realized One, a perfected one, a fully awakened Buddha has appeared.”
