“သဗ္ဗံ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဒေသေဿာမိ၊ တံ သုဏာထ၊
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the all. Listen …
ကိဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သဗ္ဗံ? စက္ခုဉ္စေဝ ရူပါ စ, သောတဉ္စ သဒ္ဒါ စ, ဃာနဉ္စ ဂန္ဓာ စ, ဇိဝှါ စ ရသာ စ, ကာယော စ ဖောဋ္ဌဗ္ဗာ စ, မနော စ ဓမ္မာ စ—ဣဒံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သဗ္ဗံ၊
And what is the all? It’s just the eye and sights, the ear and sounds, the nose and smells, the tongue and tastes, the body and touches, and the mind and thoughts. This is called the all.
ယော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧဝံ ဝဒေယျ: ‘အဟမေတံ သဗ္ဗံ ပစ္စက္ခာယ အညံ သဗ္ဗံ ပညာပေဿာမီ'တိ, တဿ ဝါစာဝတ္ထုကမေဝဿ; ပုဋ္ဌော စ န သမ္ပာယေယျ, ဥတ္တရိဉ္စ ဝိဃာတံ အာပဇ္ဇေယျ၊ တံ ကိဿ ဟေတု? ယထာ တံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အဝိသယသ္မိန်”တိ၊
Bhikkhus, suppose someone was to say: ‘I’ll reject this all and describe another all.’ They’d have no grounds for that, they’d be stumped by questions, and, in addition, they’d get frustrated. Why is that? Because they’re out of their element.”
