The Growth of Wisdom
“จตฺตาโรเม, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺมา ปญฺญาวุทฺธิยา สํวตฺตนฺติฯ กตเม จตฺตาโร? สปฺปุริสสํเสโว, สทฺธมฺมสวนํ, โยนิโสมนสิกาโร, ธมฺมานุธมฺมปฺปฏิปตฺติ—อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตฺตาโร ธมฺมา ปญฺญาวุทฺธิยา สํวตฺตนฺตี”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, these four things lead to the growth of wisdom. What four? Associating with good people, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching. These four things lead to the growth of wisdom.”
