“จตูหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ นิรเยฯ กตเมหิ จตูหิ? สาวชฺเชน กายกมฺเมน, สาวชฺเชน วจีกมฺเมน, สาวชฺเชน มโนกมฺเมน, สาวชฺชาย ทิฏฺฐิยา—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตูหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ นิรเยฯ
“Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? Blameworthy deeds by way of body, speech, and mind, and blameworthy view. Someone with these four qualities is cast down to hell.
จตูหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ สคฺเคฯ กตเมหิ จตูหิ? อนวชฺเชน กายกมฺเมน, อนวชฺเชน วจีกมฺเมน, อนวชฺเชน มโนกมฺเมน, อนวชฺชาย ทิฏฺฐิยา—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตูหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ สคฺเค”ติฯ
Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. What four? Blameless deeds by way of body, speech, and mind, and blameless view. Someone with these four qualities is raised up to heaven.”
