“จตูหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ นิรเยฯ กตเมหิ จตูหิ? สพฺยาพชฺเฌน กายกมฺเมน, สพฺยาพชฺเฌน วจีกมฺเมน, สพฺยาพชฺเฌน มโนกมฺเมน, สพฺยาพชฺฌาย ทิฏฺฐิยา—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตูหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ นิรเยฯ
“Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? Hurtful deeds by way of body, speech, and mind, and hurtful view. Someone with these four qualities is cast down to hell.
จตูหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ สคฺเคฯ กตเมหิ จตูหิ? อพฺยาพชฺเฌน กายกมฺเมน, อพฺยาพชฺเฌน วจีกมฺเมน, อพฺยาพชฺเฌน มโนกมฺเมน, อพฺยาพชฺฌาย ทิฏฺฐิยา—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตูหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ยถาภตํ นิกฺขิตฺโต เอวํ สคฺเค”ติฯ
Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. What four? Pleasing deeds by way of body, speech, and mind, and pleasing view. Someone with these four qualities is raised up to heaven.”
