Killing Living Creatures
“စတူဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊ ကတမေဟိ စတူဟိ? ပါဏာတိပါတီ ဟောတိ, အဒိန္နာဒါယီ ဟောတိ, ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရီ ဟောတိ, မုသာဝါဒီ ဟောတိ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတူဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊
“Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? They kill living creatures, steal, commit sexual misconduct, and lie. Someone with these four qualities is cast down to hell.
စတူဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ၊ ကတမေဟိ စတူဟိ? ပါဏာတိပါတာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, အဒိန္နာဒါနာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, မုသာဝါဒါ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတူဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ”တိ၊
Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. What four? They don’t kill living creatures, steal, commit sexual misconduct, or lie. Someone with these four qualities is raised up to heaven.”
