“จตฺตาโรเม, ภิกฺขเว, ปชฺโชตาฯ กตเม จตฺตาโร? จนฺทปชฺโชโต, สูริยปชฺโชโต, อคฺคิปชฺโชโต, ปญฺญาปชฺโชโต—อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตฺตาโร ปชฺโชตาฯ เอตทคฺคํ, ภิกฺขเว, อิเมสํ จตุนฺนํ ปชฺโชตานํ ยทิทํ ปญฺญาปชฺโชโต”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, there are these four lamps. What four? The lamps of the moon, sun, fire, and wisdom. These are the four lamps. The best of these four lamps is the lamp of wisdom.”
