“จตฺตาโรเม, ภิกฺขเว, ปุคฺคลา สนฺโต สํวิชฺชมานา โลกสฺมึฯ กตเม จตฺตาโร?
“Bhikkhus, these four people are found in the world. What four?
อิธ, ภิกฺขเว, เอกจฺโจ ปุคฺคโล น สีลครุ โหติ น สีลาธิปเตโยฺย, น สมาธิครุ โหติ น สมาธาธิปเตโยฺย, น ปญฺญาครุ โหติ น ปญฺญาธิปเตโยฺยฯ
One person doesn’t value or submit to ethics, samādhi, or wisdom.
อิธ ปน, ภิกฺขเว, เอกจฺโจ ปุคฺคโล สีลครุ โหติ สีลาธิปเตโยฺย, น สมาธิครุ โหติ น สมาธาธิปเตโยฺย, น ปญฺญาครุ โหติ น ปญฺญาธิปเตโยฺยฯ
One person values and submits to ethics, but not to samādhi or wisdom.
