“จตฺตาโรเม, ภิกฺขเว, ปุคฺคลา สนฺโต สํวิชฺชมานา โลกสฺมึฯ กตเม จตฺตาโร? อิธ, ภิกฺขเว, เอกจฺโจ ปุคฺคโล สีเลสุ น ปริปูรการี โหติ, สมาธิสฺมึ น ปริปูรการี, ปญฺญาย น ปริปูรการีฯ
“Bhikkhus, these four people are found in the world. What four? One person has not fulfilled ethics, samādhi, or wisdom.
อิธ ปน, ภิกฺขเว, เอกจฺโจ ปุคฺคโล สีเลสุ ปริปูรการี โหติ, สมาธิสฺมึ น ปริปูรการี, ปญฺญาย น ปริปูรการีฯ
One person has fulfilled ethics, but not samādhi or wisdom.
อิธ ปน, ภิกฺขเว, เอกจฺโจ ปุคฺคโล สีเลสุ ปริปูรการี โหติ, สมาธิสฺมึ ปริปูรการี, ปญฺญาย น ปริปูรการีฯ
