Who Should Give Dependence
“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတေန ဘိက္ခုနာ နိဿယော ဒါတဗ္ဗော၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု အသေခေန သီလက္ခန္ဓေန သမန္နာဂတော ဟောတိ …ပေ… အသေခေန ဝိမုတ္တိဉာဏဒဿနက္ခန္ဓေန သမန္နာဂတော ဟောတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ …ပေ… နိဿယော ဒါတဗ္ဗော”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, dependence should be given by a bhikkhu with five qualities. What five? It’s a bhikkhu who has the entire spectrum of an adept’s ethics, samādhi, wisdom, freedom, and the knowledge and vision of freedom. Dependence should be given by a bhikkhu with these five qualities.”
