ကိမတ္ထိယသုတ္တ
What’s the Purpose
“ကိမတ္ထိယံ, အာဝုသော သာရိပုတ္တ, သမဏေ ဂေါတမေ ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ ဝုဿတီ”တိ?
“Friend Sāriputta, what’s the purpose of leading the spiritual life under the ascetic Gotama?”
“ဒုက္ခဿ ခေါ, အာဝုသော, ပရိညတ္ထံ ဘဂဝတိ ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ ဝုဿတီ”တိ၊
“The purpose of leading the spiritual life under the Buddha is to completely understand suffering.”
“အတ္ထိ ပနာဝုသော, မဂ္ဂေါ အတ္ထိ ပဋိပဒါ ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယာ”တိ?
“But, friend, is there a path and a practice for completely understanding this suffering?”
“အတ္ထိ ခေါ, အာဝုသော, မဂ္ဂေါ အတ္ထိ ပဋိပဒါ, ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယာ”တိ?
“There is.” …
“ကတမော ပနာဝုသော, မဂ္ဂေါ ကတမာ ပဋိပဒါ, ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယာ”တိ?
“အယမေဝ ခေါ, အာဝုသော, အရိယော အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကော မဂ္ဂေါ, ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယ, သေယျထိဒံ—သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိ …ပေ… သမ္မာသမာဓိ၊ အယံ ခေါ, အာဝုသော, မဂ္ဂေါ အယံ ပဋိပဒါ ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယာ”တိ၊ “ဘဒ္ဒကော, အာဝုသော, မဂ္ဂေါ ဘဒ္ဒိကာ ပဋိပဒါ, ဧတဿ ဒုက္ခဿ ပရိညာယ၊ အလဉ္စ ပနာဝုသော သာရိပုတ္တ, အပ္ပမာဒါယာ”တိ၊
