Hard to Get Rid Of
“ปญฺจิเม, ภิกฺขเว, อุปฺปนฺนา ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทยาฯ กตเม ปญฺจ? อุปฺปนฺโน ราโค ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทโย, อุปฺปนฺโน โทโส ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทโย, อุปฺปนฺโน โมโห ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทโย, อุปฺปนฺนํ ปฏิภานํ ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทยํ, อุปฺปนฺนํ คมิกจิตฺตํ ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทยํฯ อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ปญฺจ อุปฺปนฺนา ทุปฺปฏิวิโนทยา”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, these five things are hard to get rid of once they’ve arisen. What five? Greed, hate, delusion, the feeling of being inspired to speak out, and thoughts of traveling. These five things are hard to get rid of once they’ve arisen.”

สทฺธมฺมวคฺโค ปฐโมฯ
ตสฺสุทฺทานํ
ตโย สมฺมตฺตนิยามา, ตโย สทฺธมฺมสมฺโมสา; ทุกฺกถา เจว สารชฺชํ, อุทายิทุพฺพิโนทยาติฯ
