အပ္ပမာဒသုတ္တ
Diligence
“စတူဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဌာနေဟိ အပ္ပမာဒေါ ကရဏီယော၊ ကတမေဟိ စတူဟိ? ကာယဒုစ္စရိတံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဇဟထ, ကာယသုစရိတံ ဘာဝေထ; တတ္ထ စ မာ ပမာဒတ္ထ၊ ဝစီဒုစ္စရိတံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဇဟထ, ဝစီသုစရိတံ ဘာဝေထ; တတ္ထ စ မာ ပမာဒတ္ထ၊ မနောဒုစ္စရိတံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဇဟထ, မနောသုစရိတံ ဘာဝေထ; တတ္ထ စ မာ ပမာဒတ္ထ၊ မိစ္ဆာဒိဋ္ဌိံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဇဟထ, သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိံ ဘာဝေထ; တတ္ထ စ မာ ပမာဒတ္ထ၊
“Bhikkhus, you should be diligent in four situations. What four? Give up bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind; and develop good conduct by way of body, speech, and mind. Don’t neglect these things. Give up wrong view; and develop right view. Don’t neglect this.
ယတော ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခုနော ကာယဒုစ္စရိတံ ပဟီနံ ဟောတိ ကာယသုစရိတံ ဘာဝိတံ, ဝစီဒုစ္စရိတံ ပဟီနံ ဟောတိ ဝစီသုစရိတံ ဘာဝိတံ, မနောဒုစ္စရိတံ ပဟီနံ ဟောတိ မနောသုစရိတံ ဘာဝိတံ, မိစ္ဆာဒိဋ္ဌိ ပဟီနာ ဟောတိ သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိ ဘာဝိတာ, သော န ဘာယတိ သမ္ပရာယိကဿ မရဏဿာ”တိ၊
A bhikkhu who has done these things does not fear death in lives to come.”
