အက္ကောဓသုတ္တ
Don’t Be Angry
ဧဝံ မေ သုတံ—ဧကံ သမယံ ဘဂဝါ သာဝတ္ထိယံ ဝိဟရတိ ဇေတဝနေ အနာထပိဏ္ဍိကဿ အာရာမေ၊
So I have heard. At one time the Buddha was staying near Sāvatthī in Jeta’s Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika’s monastery.
တတြ ခေါ ဘဂဝါ ဘိက္ခူ …ပေ… ဘဂဝါ ဧတဒဝေါစ:
There the Buddha addressed the bhikkhus:
“ဘူတပုဗ္ဗံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သက္ကော ဒေဝါနမိန္ဒော သုဓမ္မာယံ သဘာယံ ဒေဝေ တာဝတိံသေ အနုနယမာနော တာယံ ဝေလာယံ ဣမံ ဂါထံ အဘာသိ:
“Once upon a time, bhikkhus, Sakka, lord of gods, guiding the gods of the Thirty-Three, recited this verse:
‘မာ ဝေါ ကောဓော အဇ္ဈဘဝိ, မာ စ ကုဇ္ဈိတ္ထ ကုဇ္ဈတံ; အက္ကောဓော အဝိဟိံသာ စ, အရိယေသု စ ပဋိပဒါ; အထ ပါပဇနံ ကောဓော, ပဗ္ဗတောဝါဘိမဒ္ဒတီ'”တိ၊
‘Don’t let anger be your master, don’t get angry at angry people. Kindness and harmlessness are always present in the noble ones. For anger crushes bad people like a mountain.’”
တတိယော ဝဂ္ဂေါ၊
တဿုဒ္ဒါနံ
ဆေတွာ ဒုဗ္ဗဏ္ဏိယ မာယာ, အစ္စယေန အကောဓနော; ဒေသိတံ ဗုဒ္ဓသေဋ္ဌေန, ဣဒဉှိ သက္ကပဉ္စကန္တိ၊
သက္ကသံယုတ္တံ သမတ္တံ၊
