Ungrateful
“စတူဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊ ကတမေဟိ စတူဟိ? ကာယဒုစ္စရိတေန, ဝစီဒုစ္စရိတေန, မနောဒုစ္စရိတေန, အကတညုတာ အကတဝေဒိတာ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတူဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊
“Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? Bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind, and being ungrateful and thankless. Someone with these four qualities is cast down to hell.
စတူဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ၊ ကတမေဟိ စတူဟိ? ကာယသုစရိတေန, ဝစီသုစရိတေန, မနောသုစရိတေန, ကတညုတာ ကတဝေဒိတာ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတူဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ”တိ၊
Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. What four? Good conduct by way of body, speech, and mind, and being grateful and thankful. Someone with these four qualities is raised up to heaven.”
