သတ္တကမ္မသုတ္တ
Seven Kinds of Deeds
“အသပ္ပုရိသဉ္စ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဒေသေဿာမိ, အသပ္ပုရိသေန အသပ္ပုရိသတရဉ္စ; သပ္ပုရိသဉ္စ, သပ္ပုရိသေန သပ္ပုရိသတရဉ္စ၊ တံ သုဏာထ …ပေ…၊
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you a bad person and a worse person, a good person and a better person.
“ကတမော စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အသပ္ပုရိသော? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧကစ္စော ပါဏာတိပါတီ ဟောတိ, အဒိန္နာဒါယီ ဟောတိ, ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရီ ဟောတိ, မုသာဝါဒီ ဟောတိ, ပိသုဏဝါစော ဟောတိ, ဖရုသဝါစော ဟောတိ, သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပီ ဟောတိ၊ အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အသပ္ပုရိသော၊
And what is a bad person? It’s someone who kills living creatures, steals, commits sexual misconduct, and uses speech that’s false, divisive, harsh, or nonsensical. This is called a bad person.
ကတမော စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အသပ္ပုရိသေန အသပ္ပုရိသတရော? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧကစ္စော အတ္တနာ စ ပါဏာတိပါတီ ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ပါဏာတိပါတေ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ အဒိန္နာဒါယီ ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ အဒိန္နာဒါနေ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရီ ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရေ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ မုသာဝါဒီ ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ မုသာဝါဒေ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ပိသုဏဝါစော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ပိသုဏာယ ဝါစာယ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ဖရုသဝါစော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ဖရုသာယ ဝါစာယ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပီ ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပေ သမာဒပေတိ၊ အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အသပ္ပုရိသေန အသပ္ပုရိသတရော၊
And what is a worse person? It’s someone who kills living creatures, steals, commits sexual misconduct, and uses speech that’s false, divisive, harsh, or nonsensical. And they encourage others to do these things. This is called a worse person.
ကတမော စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သပ္ပုရိသော? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧကစ္စော ပါဏာတိပါတာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, အဒိန္နာဒါနာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, မုသာဝါဒါ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပိသုဏာယ ဝါစာယ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ဖရုသာယ ဝါစာယ ပဋိဝိရတော, ဟောတိ, သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပါ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ၊ အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သပ္ပုရိသော၊
And what is a good person? It’s someone who doesn’t kill living creatures, steal, commit sexual misconduct, or use speech that’s false, divisive, harsh, or nonsensical. This is called a good person.
ကတမော စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သပ္ပုရိသေန သပ္ပုရိသတရော? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧကစ္စော အတ္တနာ စ ပါဏာတိပါတာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ပါဏာတိပါတာ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ အဒိန္နာဒါနာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ အဒိန္နာဒါနာ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရာ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ကာမေသုမိစ္ဆာစာရာ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ မုသာဝါဒါ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ မုသာဝါဒါ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ပိသုဏာယ ဝါစာယ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ပိသုဏာယ ဝါစာယ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ ဖရုသာယ ဝါစာယ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ ဖရုသာယ ဝါစာယ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ; အတ္တနာ စ သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပါ ပဋိဝိရတော ဟောတိ, ပရဉ္စ သမ္ဖပ္ပလာပါ ဝေရမဏိယာ သမာဒပေတိ၊ အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သပ္ပုရိသေန သပ္ပုရိသတရော”တိ၊
