“បញ្ចិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឋានានិ ទុល្លភានិ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។ កតមានិ បញ្ច?
“Bhikkhus, there are five things that are hard to get for females who have not made merit. What five?
បតិរូបេ កុលេ ជាយេយ្យន្តិ—ឥទំ, ភិក្ខវេ, បឋមំ ឋានំ ទុល្លភំ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។
‘May I be born into a suitable family!’ This is the first thing.
បតិរូបេ កុលេ ជាយិត្វា បតិរូបំ កុលំ គច្ឆេយ្យន្តិ—ឥទំ, ភិក្ខវេ, ទុតិយំ ឋានំ ទុល្លភំ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។
‘Having been born in a suitable family, may I marry into a suitable family!’ This is the second thing.
បតិរូបេ កុលេ ជាយិត្វា, បតិរូបំ កុលំ គន្ត្វា, អសបត្តិ អគារំ អជ្ឈាវសេយ្យន្តិ—ឥទំ, ភិក្ខវេ, តតិយំ ឋានំ ទុល្លភំ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។
‘Having been born in a suitable family and married into a suitable family, may I live at home without a co-wife!’ This is the third thing.
បតិរូបេ កុលេ ជាយិត្វា, បតិរូបំ កុលំ គន្ត្វា, អសបត្តិ អគារំ អជ្ឈាវសន្តី បុត្តវតី អស្សន្តិ—ឥទំ, ភិក្ខវេ, ចតុត្ថំ ឋានំ ទុល្លភំ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។
‘Having been born in a suitable family, and married into a suitable family, and living at home without a co-wife, may I have children!’ This is the fourth thing.
បតិរូបេ កុលេ ជាយិត្វា, បតិរូបំ កុលំ គន្ត្វា, អសបត្តិ អគារំ អជ្ឈាវសន្តី បុត្តវតី សមានា សាមិកំ អភិភុយ្យ វត្តេយ្យន្តិ—ឥទំ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចមំ ឋានំ ទុល្លភំ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេន។
‘Having been born in a suitable family, and married into a suitable family, and living at home without a co-wife, and having had children, may I master my husband!’ This is the fifth thing.
ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ច ឋានានិ ទុល្លភានិ អកតបុញ្ញេន មាតុគាមេនាតិ។
