“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย นว ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพาฯ กตเม นว? อสุภสญฺญา, มรณสญฺญา, อาหาเร ปฏิกูลสญฺญา, สพฺพโลเก อนภิรตสญฺญา, อนิจฺจสญฺญา, อนิจฺเจ ทุกฺขสญฺญา, ทุกฺเข อนตฺตสญฺญา, ปหานสญฺญา, วิราคสญฺญา—ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย อิเม นว ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“For insight into greed, nine things should be developed. What nine? The perceptions of ugliness, death, repulsiveness of food, dissatisfaction with the whole world, impermanence, suffering in impermanence, not-self in suffering, giving up, and fading away. For insight into greed, these nine things should be developed.”
“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย นว ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพาฯ กตเม นว? ปฐมํ ฌานํ, ทุติยํ ฌานํ, ตติยํ ฌานํ, จตุตฺถํ ฌานํ, อากาสานญฺจายตนํ, วิญฺญาณญฺจายตนํ, อากิญฺจญฺญายตนํ, เนวสญฺญานาสญฺญายตนํ, สญฺญาเวทยิตนิโรโธ—ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย อิเม นว ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“For insight into greed, nine things should be developed. What nine? The first jhāna, the second jhāna, the third jhāna, the fourth jhāna, the dimension of infinite space, the dimension of infinite consciousness, the dimension of nothingness, the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception, and the cessation of perception and feeling. For insight into greed, these nine things should be developed.”
