“ทสหิ, ภิกฺขเว, อสทฺธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต กาโกฯ กตเมหิ ทสหิ? ธํสี จ, ปคพฺโภ จ, ตินฺติโณ จ, มหคฺฆโส จ, ลุทฺโท จ, อการุณิโก จ, ทุพฺพโล จ, โอรวิตา จ, มุฏฺฐสฺสติ จ, เนจยิโก จ—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, ทสหิ อสทฺธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต กาโกฯ เอวเมวํ โข, ภิกฺขเว, ทสหิ อสทฺธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ปาปภิกฺขุฯ กตเมหิ ทสหิ? ธํสี จ, ปคพฺโภ จ, ตินฺติโณ จ, มหคฺฆโส จ, ลุทฺโท จ, อการุณิโก จ, ทุพฺพโล จ, โอรวิตา จ, มุฏฺฐสฺสติ จ, เนจยิโก จ—อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, ทสหิ อสทฺธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ปาปภิกฺขู”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, a crow has ten bad qualities. What ten? They’re rude and impudent, gluttonous and voracious, cruel and pitiless, weak and raucous, unmindful and acquisitive. A crow has these ten bad qualities. In the same way, a bad bhikkhu has these ten bad qualities. What ten? They’re rude and impudent, gluttonous and voracious, cruel and pitiless, weak and raucous, unmindful and acquisitive. A bad bhikkhu has these ten bad qualities.”
