External Diversity of Elements
សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ។
At Sāvatthī.
“ធាតុនានត្តំ វោ, ភិក្ខវេ, ទេសេស្សាមិ។ តំ សុណាថ …បេ… កតមញ្ច, ភិក្ខវេ, ធាតុនានត្តំ? រូបធាតុ សទ្ទធាតុ គន្ធធាតុ រសធាតុ ផោដ្ឋព្ពធាតុ ធម្មធាតុ—ឥទំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ធាតុនានត្តន៑”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the diversity of elements. And what is the diversity of elements? The sight element, the sound element, the smell element, the taste element, the touch element, and the thought element. This is called the diversity of elements.”
