Faithless
“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ထေရော ဘိက္ခု သဗြဟ္မစာရီနံ အပ္ပိယော စ ဟောတိ, အမနာပေါ စ အဂရု စ အဘာဝနီယော စ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? အဿဒ္ဓေါ ဟောတိ, အဟိရိကော ဟောတိ, အနောတ္တပ္ပီ ဟောတိ, ကုသီတော ဟောတိ, ဒုပ္ပညော ဟောတိ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ထေရော ဘိက္ခု သဗြဟ္မစာရီနံ အပ္ပိယော စ ဟောတိ အမနာပေါ စ အဂရု စ အဘာဝနီယော စ၊
“Bhikkhus, a senior bhikkhu with five qualities is unlikable and unlovable to their spiritual companions, not respected or admired. What five? They’re faithless, shameless, imprudent, lazy, and witless. A senior bhikkhu with these five qualities is unlikable and unlovable to their spiritual companions, not respected or admired.
ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ထေရော ဘိက္ခု သဗြဟ္မစာရီနံ ပိယော စ ဟောတိ မနာပေါ စ ဂရု စ ဘာဝနီယော စ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? သဒ္ဓေါ ဟောတိ, ဟိရီမာ ဟောတိ, ဩတ္တပ္ပီ ဟောတိ, အာရဒ္ဓဝီရိယော ဟောတိ, ပညဝါ ဟောတိ—ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ထေရော ဘိက္ခု သဗြဟ္မစာရီနံ ပိယော စ ဟောတိ မနာပေါ စ ဂရု စ ဘာဝနီယော စာ”တိ၊
A senior bhikkhu with five qualities is dear and beloved to their spiritual companions, respected and admired. What five? They’re faithful, conscientious, prudent, energetic, and wise. A senior bhikkhu with these five qualities is dear and beloved to their spiritual companions, respected and admired.”
