Gifts of a Bad Person
“ပဉ္စိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အသပ္ပုရိသဒါနာနိ၊ ကတမာနိ ပဉ္စ? အသက္ကစ္စံ ဒေတိ, အစိတ္တီကတွာ ဒေတိ, အသဟတ္ထာ ဒေတိ, အပဝိဒ္ဓံ ဒေတိ, အနာဂမနဒိဋ္ဌိကော ဒေတိ၊ ဣမာနိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စ အသပ္ပုရိသဒါနာနိ၊
“Bhikkhus, there are these five gifts of a bad person. What five? They give carelessly. They give thoughtlessly. They don’t give with their own hand. They give the dregs. They give without consideration for consequences. These are the five gifts of a bad person.
ပဉ္စိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သပ္ပုရိသဒါနာနိ၊ ကတမာနိ ပဉ္စ? သက္ကစ္စံ ဒေတိ, စိတ္တီကတွာ ဒေတိ, သဟတ္ထာ ဒေတိ, အနပဝိဒ္ဓံ ဒေတိ, အာဂမနဒိဋ္ဌိကော ဒေတိ၊ ဣမာနိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စ သပ္ပုရိသဒါနာနီ”တိ၊
There are these five gifts of a good person. What five? They give carefully. They give thoughtfully. They give with their own hand. They don’t give the dregs. They give with consideration for consequences. These are the five gifts of a good person.”
