សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ។
At Sāvatthī.
អថ ខោ អាយស្មា រាហុលោ យេន ភគវា តេនុបសង្កមិ; ឧបសង្កមិត្វា ភគវន្តំ អភិវាទេត្វា ឯកមន្តំ និសីទិ។ ឯកមន្តំ និសិន្នោ ខោ អាយស្មា រាហុលោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច:
Then Venerable Rāhula went up to the Buddha, bowed, sat down to one side, and said to him:
“កថំ នុ ខោ, ភន្តេ, ជានតោ កថំ បស្សតោ ឥមស្មិញ្ច សវិញ្ញាណកេ កាយេ ពហិទ្ធា ច សព្ពនិមិត្តេសុ អហង្ការមមង្ការមានានុសយា ន ហោន្តី”តិ?
“Sir, how does one know and see so that there’s no ego, possessiveness, or underlying tendency to conceit for this conscious body and all external stimuli?”
“យំ កិញ្ចិ, រាហុល, រូបំ អតីតានាគតបច្ចុប្បន្នំ អជ្ឈត្តំ វា ពហិទ្ធា វា ឱឡារិកំ វា សុខុមំ វា ហីនំ វា បណីតំ វា យំ ទូរេ សន្តិកេ វា, សព្ពំ រូបំ ‘នេតំ មម, នេសោហមស្មិ, ន មេសោ អត្តាៜតិ ឯវមេតំ យថាភូតំ សម្មប្បញ្ញាយ បស្សតិ។ យា កាចិ វេទនា …បេ… យា កាចិ សញ្ញា … យេ កេចិ សង្ខារា … យំ កិញ្ចិ វិញ្ញាណំ អតីតានាគតបច្ចុប្បន្នំ អជ្ឈត្តំ វា ពហិទ្ធា វា ឱឡារិកំ វា សុខុមំ វា ហីនំ វា បណីតំ វា យំ ទូរេ សន្តិកេ វា, សព្ពំ វិញ្ញាណំ ‘នេតំ មម, នេសោហមស្មិ, ន មេសោ អត្តាៜតិ ឯវមេតំ យថាភូតំ សម្មប្បញ្ញាយ បស្សតិ។
“Rāhula, one truly sees any kind of form at all—past, future, or present; internal or external; coarse or fine; inferior or superior; far or near: all form—with right understanding: ‘This is not mine, I am not this, this is not my self.’ One truly sees any kind of feeling … perception … functioning patterns … consciousness at all—past, future, or present; internal or external; coarse or fine; inferior or superior; far or near: all consciousness—with right understanding: ‘This is not mine, I am not this, this is not my self.’
ឯវំ ខោ, រាហុល, ជានតោ ឯវំ បស្សតោ ឥមស្មិញ្ច សវិញ្ញាណកេ កាយេ ពហិទ្ធា ច សព្ពនិមិត្តេសុ អហង្ការមមង្ការមានានុសយា ន ហោន្តី”តិ។
That’s how to know and see so that there’s no ego, possessiveness, or underlying tendency to conceit for this conscious body and all external stimuli.”
