វស្សវលាហកសុត្ត
Gods of the Rainy Clouds
សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
ឯកមន្តំ និសិន្នោ ខោ សោ ភិក្ខុ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច:
Seated to one side, that bhikkhu said to the Buddha:
“កោ នុ ខោ, ភន្តេ, ហេតុ, កោ បច្ចយោ, យេនេកទា ទេវោ វស្សតី”តិ?
“Sir, what is the cause, what is the reason why sometimes it rains?”
“សន្តិ, ភិក្ខុ, វស្សវលាហកា នាម ទេវា។ តេសំ យទា ឯវំ ហោតិ: ‘យន្នូន មយំ សកាយ រតិយា វសេយ្យាមាៜតិ, តេសំ តំ ចេតោបណិធិមន្វាយ ទេវោ វស្សតិ។ អយំ ខោ, ភិក្ខុ, ហេតុ, អយំ បច្ចយោ, យេនេកទា ទេវោ វស្សតី”តិ។
“Bhikkhu, there are what are called gods of the rainy clouds. Sometimes they think: ‘Why don’t we revel in our own kind of enjoyment?’ Then, in accordance with their wish, it becomes rainy. This is the cause, this is the reason why sometimes it rains.”
សត្តបញ្ញាសមំ។
សត្តបញ្ញាសសុត្តន្តំ និដ្ឋិតំ។
វលាហកវគ្គោ បឋមោ។
តស្សុទ្ទានំ
សុទ្ធិកំ សុចរិតញ្ច, ទានូបការបញ្ញាសំ; សីតំ ឧណ្ហញ្ច អព្ភញ្ច, វាតវស្សវលាហកាតិ។
វលាហកសំយុត្តំ សមត្តំ។
