තතියමෝරනිවාපසුත්ත
At the Peacocks’ Feeding Ground (3rd)
“තීහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු අච්චන්තනිට්ඨෝ හෝති අච්චන්තයෝගක්ඛේමී අච්චන්තබ්රහ්මචාරී අච්චන්තපරියෝසානෝ සේට්ඨෝ දේවමනුස්සානං. කතමේහි තීහි? සම්මාදිට්ඨියා, සම්මාඤාණේන, සම්මාවිමුත්තියා—
“Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu who has three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans. What three? Right view, right knowledge, and right freedom.
ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, තීහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු අච්චන්තනිට්ඨෝ හෝති අච්චන්තයෝගක්ඛේමී අච්චන්තබ්රහ්මචාරී අච්චන්තපරියෝසානෝ සේට්ඨෝ දේවමනුස්සානන්”ති.
A bhikkhu with these three qualities has reached the ultimate end, the ultimate sanctuary from the yoke, the ultimate spiritual life, the ultimate goal. They are the best among gods and humans.”
