တတိယကုက္ကုဋာရာမသုတ္တ

ပါဋလိပုတ္တနိဒါနံ၊
At Pāṭaliputta.
“‘ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယန်'တိ, အာဝုသော အာနန္ဒ, ဝုစ္စတိ၊ ကတမံ နု ခေါ, အာဝုသော, ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ, ကတမော ဗြဟ္မစာရီ, ကတမံ ဗြဟ္မစရိယပရိယောသာနန်”တိ?
“Friend, they speak of this thing called the ‘spiritual path’. What is the spiritual path? Who is someone on the spiritual path? And what is the culmination of the spiritual path?”
“သာဓု သာဓု, အာဝုသော ဘဒ္ဒ၊ ဘဒ္ဒကော ခေါ တေ, အာဝုသော ဘဒ္ဒ, ဥမ္မင်္ဂေါ, ဘဒ္ဒကံ ပဋိဘာနံ, ကလျာဏီ ပရိပုစ္ဆာ၊ ဧဝဉှိ တွံ, အာဝုသော ဘဒ္ဒ, ပုစ္ဆသိ: ‘ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယန္တိ, အာဝုသော အာနန္ဒ, ဝုစ္စတိ၊ ကတမံ နု ခေါ, အာဝုသော, ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ, ကတမော ဗြဟ္မစာရီ, ကတမံ ဗြဟ္မစရိယပရိယောသာနန်'”တိ? “ဧဝမာဝုသော”တိ၊
“Good, good, Friend Bhadda! Your approach and articulation are excellent, and it’s a good question. …
“အယမေဝ ခေါ, အာဝုသော, အရိယော အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကော မဂ္ဂေါ ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ, သေယျထိဒံ—သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိ …ပေ… သမ္မာသမာဓိ၊
The spiritual path is simply this noble eightfold path, that is: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samādhi.
ယော ခေါ, အာဝုသော, ဣမိနာ အရိယေန အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကေန မဂ္ဂေန သမန္နာဂတော—အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ ဗြဟ္မစာရီ၊
Someone who possesses this noble eightfold path is called someone on the spiritual path.
ယော ခေါ, အာဝုသော, ရာဂက္ခယော ဒေါသက္ခယော မောဟက္ခယော—ဣဒံ ဗြဟ္မစရိယပရိယောသာနန်”တိ၊
The ending of greed, hate, and delusion: this is the culmination of the spiritual path.”
