“จตฺตาริมานิ, ภิกฺขเว, วจีสุจริตานิฯ กตมานิ จตฺตาริ? สจฺจวาจา, อปิสุณา วาจา, สณฺหา วาจา, มนฺตภาสา—อิมานิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, จตฺตาริ วจีสุจริตานี”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, there are these four kinds of good conduct by way of speech. What four? Speech that’s true, harmonious, gentle, and thoughtful. These are the four kinds of good conduct by way of speech.”
