“သတ္တိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သံယောဇနာနိ၊ ကတမာနိ သတ္တ? အနုနယသံယောဇနံ, ပဋိဃသံယောဇနံ, ဒိဋ္ဌိသံယောဇနံ, ဝိစိကိစ္ဆာသံယောဇနံ, မာနသံယောဇနံ, ဣဿာသံယောဇနံ, မစ္ဆရိယသံယောဇနံ၊ ဣမာနိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတ္တ သံယောဇနာနီ”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, there are these seven fetters. What seven? The fetters of attraction, repulsion, views, doubt, conceit, jealousy, and stinginess. These are the seven fetters.”

တဿုဒ္ဒါနံ
ဒွေ ပိယာနိ ဗလံ ဓနံ, သင်္ခိတ္တဉ္စေဝ ဝိတ္ထတံ; ဥဂ္ဂံ သံယောဇနဉ္စေဝ, ပဟာနံ မစ္ဆရိယေန စာတိ၊
