“បញ្ចិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥន្ទ្រិយានិ ភាវិតានិ ពហុលីកតានិ អនុប្បន្នានិ ឧប្បជ្ជន្តិ, នាញ្ញត្រ សុគតវិនយា។ កតមានិ បញ្ច? សទ្ធិន្ទ្រិយំ, វីរិយិន្ទ្រិយំ, សតិន្ទ្រិយំ, សមាធិន្ទ្រិយំ, បញ្ញិន្ទ្រិយំ—ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចិន្ទ្រិយានិ ភាវិតានិ ពហុលីកតានិ អនុប្បន្នានិ ឧប្បជ្ជន្តិ, នាញ្ញត្រ សុគតវិនយា”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, these five faculties don’t arise to be developed and cultivated apart from the Holy One’s training. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. These five faculties don’t arise to be developed and cultivated apart from the Holy One’s training.”
