First Absorption (2nd)
“ඡ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේ අප්පහාය අභබ්බෝ පඨමං ඣානං උපසම්පජ්ජ විහරිතුං. කතමේ ඡ? කාමවිතක්කං, බ්යාපාදවිතක්කං, විහිංසාවිතක්කං, කාමසඤ්ඤං, බ්යාපාදසඤ්ඤං, විහිංසාසඤ්ඤං—ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡ ධම්මේ අප්පහාය අභබ්බෝ පඨමං ඣානං උපසම්පජ්ජ විහරිතුං.
“Bhikkhus, without giving up these six qualities you can’t enter and remain in the first jhāna. What six? Sensual, malicious, and cruel thoughts; and sensual, malicious, and cruel perceptions. Without giving up these six qualities you can’t enter and remain in the first jhāna.
ඡ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේ පහාය භබ්බෝ පඨමං ඣානං උපසම්පජ්ජ විහරිතුං. කතමේ ඡ? කාමවිතක්කං, බ්යාපාදවිතක්කං, විහිංසාවිතක්කං, කාමසඤ්ඤං, බ්යාපාදසඤ්ඤං, විහිංසාසඤ්ඤං—ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡ ධම්මේ පහාය භබ්බෝ පඨමං ඣානං උපසම්පජ්ජ විහරිතුන්”ති.
But after giving up these six qualities you can enter and remain in the first jhāna. What six? Sensual, malicious, and cruel thoughts; and sensual, malicious, and cruel perceptions. After giving up these six qualities you can enter and remain in the first jhāna.”

තස්සුද්දානං
අනාගාමි අරහං මිත්තා, සඞ්ගණිකාරාමදේවතා; සමාධිසක්ඛිභබ්බං බලං, තජ්ඣානා අපරේ දුවේති.
