သာဝတ္ထိနိဒါနံ၊
At Sāvatthī.
“ဗြဟ္မစရိယဉ္စ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဒေသေဿာမိ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယတ္ထဉ္စ၊ တံ သုဏာထ၊
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the spiritual path and the goal of the spiritual path. Listen …
ကတမဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ? အယမေဝ အရိယော အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကော မဂ္ဂေါ, သေယျထိဒံ—သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိ …ပေ… သမ္မာသမာဓိ၊ ဣဒံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယံ၊
And what is the spiritual path? It is simply this noble eightfold path, that is: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samādhi. This is called the spiritual path.
ကတမော စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယတ္ထော? ယော ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ရာဂက္ခယော ဒေါသက္ခယော မောဟက္ခယော—အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဗြဟ္မစရိယတ္ထော”တိ၊
And what is the goal of the spiritual path? The ending of greed, hate, and delusion. This is called the goal of the spiritual path.”

ပဋိပတ္တိ ပဋိပန္နော စ, ဝိရဒ္ဓဉ္စ ပါရင်္ဂမာ; သာမညေန စ ဒွေ ဝုတ္တာ, ဗြဟ္မညာ အပရေ ဒုဝေ; ဗြဟ္မစရိယေန ဒွေ ဝုတ္တာ, ဝဂ္ဂေါ တေန ပဝုစ္စတီတိ၊
