The Spiritual Path (2nd)
សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
“ព្រហ្មចរិយញ្ច វោ, ភិក្ខវេ, ទេសេស្សាមិ, ព្រហ្មចរិយត្ថញ្ច។ តំ សុណាថ។
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the spiritual path and the goal of the spiritual path. Listen …
កតមញ្ច, ភិក្ខវេ, ព្រហ្មចរិយំ? អយមេវ អរិយោ អដ្ឋង្គិកោ មគ្គោ, សេយ្យថិទំ—សម្មាទិដ្ឋិ …បេ… សម្មាសមាធិ។ ឥទំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ព្រហ្មចរិយំ។
And what is the spiritual path? It is simply this noble eightfold path, that is: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samādhi. This is called the spiritual path.
កតមោ ច, ភិក្ខវេ, ព្រហ្មចរិយត្ថោ? យោ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, រាគក្ខយោ ទោសក្ខយោ មោហក្ខយោ—អយំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ព្រហ្មចរិយត្ថោ”តិ។
And what is the goal of the spiritual path? The ending of greed, hate, and delusion. This is called the goal of the spiritual path.”

បដិបត្តិវគ្គោ ចតុត្ថោ។
តស្សុទ្ទានំ
បដិបត្តិ បដិបន្នោ ច, វិរទ្ធញ្ច បារង្គមា; សាមញ្ញេន ច ទ្វេ វុត្តា, ព្រហ្មញ្ញា អបរេ ទុវេ; ព្រហ្មចរិយេន ទ្វេ វុត្តា, វគ្គោ តេន បវុច្ចតីតិ។
