“จตูหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต พาโล อพฺยตฺโต อสปฺปุริโส ขตํ อุปหตํ อตฺตานํ ปริหรติ, สาวชฺโช จ โหติ สานุวชฺโช วิญฺญูนํ, พหุญฺจ อปุญฺญํ ปสวติฯ กตเมหิ จตูหิ? กายทุจฺจริเตน, วจีทุจฺจริเตน, มโนทุจฺจริเตน, อกตญฺญุตา อกตเวทิตา—อิเมหิ …เป… กายสุจริเตน, วจีสุจริเตน, มโนสุจริเตน กตญฺญุตากตเวทิตา …เป…ฯ
“When a foolish, incompetent bad person has four qualities they keep themselves broken and damaged. They deserve to be blamed and criticized by sensible people, and they make much bad karma. What four? Bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind, and being ungrateful and thankless.
