“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု အဿဒ္ဓေါ ဟောတိ, အဟိရိကော ဟောတိ, အနောတ္တပ္ပီ ဟောတိ, ကုသီတော ဟောတိ, ဒုပ္ပညော ဟောတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ နိရယေ၊
“Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu with five qualities is cast down to hell. What five? It’s when a bhikkhu is faithless, shameless, imprudent, lazy, and witless. A bhikkhu with these five qualities is cast down to hell.
ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု သဒ္ဓေါ ဟောတိ, ဟိရီမာ ဟောတိ, ဩတ္တပ္ပီ ဟောတိ, အာရဒ္ဓဝီရိယော ဟောတိ, ပညဝါ ဟောတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု ယထာဘတံ နိက္ခိတ္တော ဧဝံ သဂ္ဂေ”တိ၊
A bhikkhu with five qualities is raised up to heaven. What five? It’s when a bhikkhu is faithful, conscientious, prudent, energetic, and wise. A bhikkhu with these five qualities is raised up to heaven.”
