Superhuman States
“ඡ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේ අප්පහාය අභබ්බෝ උත්තරි මනුස්සධම්මං අලමරියඤාණදස්සනවිසේසං සච්ඡිකාතුං. කතමේ ඡ? මුට්ඨස්සච්චං, අසම්පජඤ්ඤං, ඉන්ද්රියේසු අගුත්තද්වාරතං, භෝජනේ අමත්තඤ්ඤුතං, කුහනං, ලපනං. ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡ ධම්මේ අප්පහාය අභබ්බෝ උත්තරි මනුස්සධම්මං අලමරියඤාණදස්සනවිසේසං සච්ඡිකාතුං.
“Bhikkhus, without giving up six qualities you can’t realize a superhuman distinction in knowledge and vision worthy of the noble ones. What six? Lack of mindfulness and focused awareness, not guarding the sense doors, eating too much, deceit, and flattery. Without giving up these six qualities you can’t realize a superhuman distinction in knowledge and vision worthy of the noble ones.
ඡ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේ පහාය භබ්බෝ උත්තරි මනුස්සධම්මං අලමරියඤාණදස්සනවිසේසං සච්ඡිකාතුං. කතමේ ඡ? මුට්ඨස්සච්චං, අසම්පජඤ්ඤං, ඉන්ද්රියේසු අගුත්තද්වාරතං, භෝජනේ අමත්තඤ්ඤුතං, කුහනං, ලපනං. ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡ ධම්මේ පහාය භබ්බෝ උත්තරි මනුස්සධම්මං අලමරියඤාණදස්සනවිසේසං සච්ඡිකාතුන්”ති.
