សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
“យោ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, រូបតណ្ហាយ ឧប្បាទោ ឋិតិ …បេ… ជរាមរណស្ស បាតុភាវោ …បេ… យោ ធម្មតណ្ហាយ ឧប្បាទោ ឋិតិ អភិនិព្ពត្តិ បាតុភាវោ, ទុក្ខស្សេសោ ឧប្បាទោ, រោគានំ ឋិតិ, ជរាមរណស្ស បាតុភាវោ។ យោ ច ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, រូបតណ្ហាយ និរោធោ …បេ… ជរាមរណស្ស អត្ថង្គមោ …បេ… យោ ធម្មតណ្ហាយ និរោធោ វូបសមោ អត្ថង្គមោ, ទុក្ខស្សេសោ និរោធោ, រោគានំ វូបសមោ, ជរាមរណស្ស អត្ថង្គមោ”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, the arising of craving for sights … craving for thoughts … is the manifestation of old age and death. The cessation of craving for sights … craving for thoughts … is the ending of old age and death.”
