“បញ្ចិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥន្ទ្រិយានិ។ កតមានិ បញ្ច? សុខិន្ទ្រិយំ, ទុក្ខិន្ទ្រិយំ, សោមនស្សិន្ទ្រិយំ, ទោមនស្សិន្ទ្រិយំ, ឧបេក្ខិន្ទ្រិយំ—ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចិន្ទ្រិយានី”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are these five faculties. What five? The faculties of pleasure, pain, happiness, sadness, and equanimity. These are the five faculties.”
