A Stream-Enterer
“ឆយិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥន្ទ្រិយានិ។ កតមានិ ឆ? ចក្ខុន្ទ្រិយំ …បេ… មនិន្ទ្រិយំ។ យតោ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, អរិយសាវកោ ឥមេសំ ឆន្នំ ឥន្ទ្រិយានំ សមុទយញ្ច អត្ថង្គមញ្ច អស្សាទញ្ច អាទីនវញ្ច និស្សរណញ្ច យថាភូតំ បជានាតិ—អយំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, អរិយសាវកោ សោតាបន្នោ អវិនិបាតធម្មោ និយតោ សម្ពោធិបរាយណោ”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are these six faculties. What six? The faculties of the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. A noble disciple comes to truly understand these six faculties’ origin, ending, gratification, drawback, and escape. Such a noble disciple is called a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in the underworld, bound for awakening.”
