The Ending of Defilements
“បញ្ចិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥន្ទ្រិយានិ។ កតមានិ បញ្ច? សទ្ធិន្ទ្រិយំ …បេ… បញ្ញិន្ទ្រិយំ—ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចិន្ទ្រិយានិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are these five faculties. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. These are the five faculties.
ឥមេសំ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចន្នំ ឥន្ទ្រិយានំ ភាវិតត្តា ពហុលីកតត្តា ភិក្ខុ អាសវានំ ខយា អនាសវំ ចេតោវិមុត្តិំ បញ្ញាវិមុត្តិំ ទិដ្ឋេវ ធម្មេ សយំ អភិញ្ញា សច្ឆិកត្វា ឧបសម្បជ្ជ វិហរតី”តិ។
It’s because of developing and cultivating these five faculties that a bhikkhu realizes the undefiled freedom of heart and freedom by wisdom in this very life. And they live having realized it with their own insight due to the ending of defilements.”

មុទុតរវគ្គោ ទុតិយោ។
តស្សុទ្ទានំ
បដិលាភោ តយោ សង្ខិត្តា, វិត្ថារា អបរេ តយោ; បដិបន្នោ ច សម្បន្នោ, ទសមំ អាសវក្ខយន្តិ។
